HELLO 4th year
exam coming up... lets do some rock and roll for exam... some bad tips from a member of BBC (Back Bencher Club)...
start all ur answers with definitions even if u dontdo them,,, Definitions: its a pathological/physiological condition characterised by ................... due to......... leading to........ like,, tumour is a pathological condition characterised by abnormal tissue growth due to abnormality at gene expression level and leading to uncontrolled, unchecked tissue growth... U CAN SPICE IT UP A BIT MORE DEPENDING ON UR FRESH KNOWLEGDE...
pathology answers are based on a scheme... code is ...
Disguised in a surgeon's gown, dedicated pragmatic physician might make the permant cure
Definition Incidence aetiology sex geography differential pathogenesis presentation micro pathology macropathology treatment prognosis complication
if u know what are u talking about good and well.. if not... just put all these headings on over few pages and fill them with general knowledge..
about etilogy of disease, if u can remember it..well... if u forget,,, dont worry ... there is a famous worldwide accepted definiton...known as surgical sieve....
A-Hereditary/congenital B-acquired infective(futher viral, bacterial, fungal, protozoal in u know) inflammatory iatrogenic (immunosuppresive sometimes) traumatic chemical malignant
again u can brush it up if u like,,,
salam

one more thing guys its true for every body... all professional exams: once u are revising in the last moment, make sure that you know ur past 2- 3 years university papers... ur current exam will be covered at least 50-60 percent out of that... almost pass.. note: this does not hold true for sent-ups as internal exam questions are universally surprising and strange,,, but it definitely works for prof.... P.S. my best record is pharma sent ups... i could prepare only 6 questions on the morning of test (tip given by laeeq akbar malik: my class fellow) as i was organising swimming gala the night before... can u imagine how many questions came into exam.. well! there were total 6 questions in exam and exactly the same 6 questions,,, so no wonder i stood third in test...

all of u are welcome asma.. i hope every body did good job... i did not get ur question,, if u meant to ask that what is publication? publication mean getting an article in a journal (preferably peer reviewed), these will be small research articles... can be small audits,,, in my ffinal year me and my brother did an audit on psychotropic prescriptions and benzodiazepines... reviewed 100 prescriptions and then analysed them and published them in pakistan journal of neurology (dont blame me for that . it was all my brother's effort and he kindly added my name) it helps u later in job search and especially international applications
also ask ur ward MOs that if u can help them in some thing and they will put ur name in a publication salam
